Robert Johnson has been a steadfast leader as the Executive Director of the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools (CAPPS) since 1997. He has worked tirelessly with his Board of Directors and membership to represent the Association and the Private Postsecondary Education Sector to Policy Makers and the Public. Johnson has collaborated with Governors, State and Local Legislators, Boards, Commissions, and State regulatory bodies such as the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) on matters related to the Private Postsecondary Education Sector, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the betterment of education in California.

Robert’s leadership of the Independent Coalition of Educators Political Action Committee (ICEPAC) and the CAPPS 501(c)3 Foundation inspires member schools to achieve regulatory, accrediting, and legal excellence while empowering them through capacity-building programs.
