CECU STATEMENT ON THE COLLEGE COST REDUCTION ACT

Arlington, VA – The following statement was released by CECU regarding the College Cost Reduction Act:

“We applaud the Committee’s effort to lower college costs and support provisions that will assist students and their families in making well-informed decisions about higher education,” said CECU’s President and CEO, Dr. Jason Altmire. “Additionally, repealing regulations that are costly and burdensome is a significant step towards reducing bureaucratic hurdles and creating a more responsive system that better serves the needs of both students and educational institutions. We look forward to working with the Committee on solutions that positively impact students across all sectors of higher education.”
