Department Publishes NSLDS Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment User Guide

Career Education Colleges and Universities (CECU)

April 30, 2024
Federal Student Aid posted a notice about their new NSLDS Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment (FVT/GE) User Guide. The notice provided a link to the Introduction to the Guide as well as a list of topics to be addressed in future Volumes of the Guide, including batch student and program submittal reporting, completers lists, student and program submittal online reporting, and D/E rates and EP measures. The notice also referred back to the Dear Colleague Letter published by the FSA a month ago on regulatory requirements for FVT/GE and to the FVT/GE topic information page on FSA’s website.
As a reminder, FSA is hosting a webinar, FVT/GE Reporting – New NSLDS Reports, tomorrow at 1 pm ET.
CECU is reviewing the new information and will continue to provide updates in the run-up to the FVT/GE rule going into effect on July 1, 2024, and as schools prepare for the first FVT/GE reporting deadline of October 1, 2024.
