This one-day workshop enhances attendees’ understanding of the accreditation process. Participants will have the opportunity to dive deeper into the various steps of the accreditation process, ranging from the creation of the Self-Evaluation Report (SER) to preparing for the on-site team visit, as well as responding to team reports. The presenters will also discuss the interpretation of multiple standards and provide guidance on ways to prepare for and adhere to them. Attendees are encouraged to bring their draft self-evaluation report and program effectiveness plans.
This workshop is open to initial and renewal applicants as well as members of the public. Attendance at this workshop meets the requirement described in III.A.3. of the Accreditation Manual.
NOTE: Workshop attendees are responsible for making their own hotel and airline reservations. If attending the workshop to meet III.A.3. of the Accreditation Manual, full attendance is required. ABHES defines full attendance as being present from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and allows for a 15-minute grace period at the start and end of the workshop.
