Back by popular demand! DEAC, together with DuaneMorris, is hosting a special webinar event, Title IV of the Higher Education Act: A Compliance Seminar on Distance Education.
This webinar is full of information appropriate both for institutions thinking about becoming Title IV certified and those already participating in the Title IV program. The four-hour webinar will cover: Updates on Title IV rulemaking; Title IV program participation basics (institutional, student and program), the federal definition of distance education and correspondence education, with a deep dive into regular and substantive interaction and satisfactory academic progress. We will also cover administrative capability, fiduciary duty, state authorization, professional licensure disclosure obligations, and ADA as it applies to online programs, and data security and privacy.
