This afternoon District Judge Terry A. Doughty of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana granted a preliminary injunction against the enforcement of the Biden Title IX Rule in the case Louisiana v. U.S. Department of Education. The injunction is limited to the states that are plaintiffs in that lawsuit, including Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, and Idaho, so it appears to only protect schools located in those states.
CECU is reviewing the opinion and will provide additional analysis shortly.
