Call for Public Comment on Proposed Amendments to Processes and Procedures
Dear Colleague,
As a reminder, the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) is making technical and conforming amendments to Part Two, Processes and Procedures, of the DEAC Accreditation Handbook.
DEAC is inviting comments on some of the proposed amendments through December 16, 2024. DEAC is seeking comments on the following amendments:
1.Accreditation Workshop Requirement (p. 13)
2.Submission Timelines (pp. 20-21)
3.Substantive Change Submission Procedures (pp. 54-62)
4.Embedding General Education Into Core Curriculum (p. 72)
